Organic Baby Needs

Baby has many needs and most of them can be provided with the use of organic products. By using organic baby products you can be sure that baby will not come into any contact with products that might have been immersed in poisons that can still emit toxic fumes or cause skin irritations. Rashes and eczema often become problems of the past once mothers change over to organic clothing and other products.

While most clothing comes into contact with baby's tender skin, but the new mother may not realize that other products also come into contact with baby. Babies tend to put everything they touch into their mouths, so it's vital that these things do not contain carcinogens of any kind. These things can be soft or hard toys, rattles, chewable teething products, and other things such as salves and sunscreens. Baby nappies are of particular interest here, since they are securely fastened around a most delicate area. Using organic nappies will ensure that your baby is not harmed in any way.

Another area that may be forgotten is the cleaning process. If bibs and other clothes are washed in certain toxic products such as bleach to get stains out, and then baby puts those things in his mouth, then how do we know there is not some small residue of the cleaning agent left in the material? How much better it is to be really sure you don't poison your baby by using products that are eco-friendly.

Not only have they not harmed the environment when they were made and disposed of, but they cannot harm your baby either. And when we think of harming baby, we must also think about products we use on our own skin. How many times has baby put your finger in his mouth? And what about breastfeeding? So the products mothers use to wash their own clothes and skin should be organic as well, for the best protection.

But babies become toddlers who crawl around the floor and investigate everything that they come into contact with. And very often this investigation is done with the mouth. So it is up to mothers to take a good look around the home and see what needs to be changed. Floor wash is particularly important - it will be rubbed into the crawling baby's hands and knees. So organic baby products now stretch to become organic household products. And it is all worthwhile to ensure your baby keeps optimum health.
