HONEY, YOU'RE SO SWEET!


After realizing the downside of empty calories in white sugar, healthy minds are looking for alternatives. That's when honey comes into play.

Why? Because honey is so easily absorbed by the body. Also it is full of nutritious vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidants. Ayurvedic medicine has long abserved that the benificial properties of pure honey are destroyed when it is heated. (Pure honey will not dissolve when dropped in water.)

It's also important to use a wooden honey dipper. Since wood is the only material that doesn't react to the nutritious substance in honey and will not make it discolor.

Store honey at room temperature away from direct sunlight. Do not refrigerate speeds crystallization, which thickens honey and turns it cloudy and grainy. To reliquefy, place the honey container in warm water until all the crystals are dissolved. Now you can enjoy the natural sweetness that is also good and benificial to your health.
